Addiction support for your employees and the people you serve

Restart helps companies and institutions reach people who rarely seek help on their own: people with addiction and their loved ones. We combine a 24/7 app, talks led by psychotherapists and educational materials.

The Restart app on a phone

What a partnership includes

We tailor the scope to the number of people and what your organisation needs.

On-site talk

We come to you with material on addiction and codependency. Talks are led by experienced, certified psychotherapists.

App access

You decide how many licences you need. Use is anonymous, and you know how many people took up the offer.

Educational materials

Every participant receives materials to read at home, which help them remember what they learned and spot the problem in their family too.

Regular reports

We share aggregate usage and outcome indicators, with no data that could identify anyone.

How we work

Low barrier to entry

Shame and fear of being recognised are the most common barriers. Using Restart requires no name or phone number.

Available 24/7

Tools, materials and the community are there at any time, wherever someone lives.

Proven tools

Content is developed with addiction therapists, based on tools used in clinical practice.

Data protection

We show no ads and never share data with third parties. We process it in line with GDPR.

How we measure whether support works

We measure what a digital tool can measure and describe our method openly so it can be checked.

We count everyone who started

Our results include everyone who began using the app, including those who stopped after a few days.

Self-assessment based on AUDIT

An anonymous questionnaire based on the WHO screening test, repeated regularly, shows the direction of change. It is self-assessment, not a diagnosis.

Coming back after a relapse

We track how many people return to the app within 72 hours of a relapse. What matters is coming back, not just the length of a streak.

Łukasz Tchórzewski
“When I was on my own path to sobriety, there was no tool to guide me through it day to day. We built Restart to fill that gap.”
Łukasz Tchórzewski, addiction therapist, co-founder of Restart

Restart was developed over two years with addiction therapists and people with lived experience of recovery. We share the specialists’ names with organisations considering a partnership. More than a thousand people use the app. Company: Restart App Sp. z o.o.
